Carlmont was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged the Woodside Wildcats out 2-1. That's two games straight that the Scots have won by just one goal.

Carlmont is facing Burlingame at the right time seeing as Burlingame is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Woodside, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Sequoia on the 11th.
