Basketball Recap: Flower Mound Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Flower Mound faced off against Grace Prep on Saturday. The Jaguars took a 75-59 bruising from the Lions.

Grace Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kei Scott, who went 9-for-11 en route to 21 points. Thanks to that strong game, Scott now owns an excellent 46.7% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Mj Boyd, who shot 83% from the field on his way to 14 points and five assists.

Flower Mound's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grace Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Flower Mound didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-57 victory against Arlington Heights on the 18th. As for Grace Prep, they have also already played their next matchup, a 55-45 win against Centennial on the 15th.
