McKenzie extended their winning streak to eight on Monday, bumping their season record up to 11-9 in the process. They never let the Gleason Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

As for Gleason, they dropped their record down to 6-13-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Gleason's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Legens, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKenzie will host Dresden at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gleason, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central at 5:00 p.m.
