Basketball Recap: Morrilton Takes a Loss

If Morrilton was riding high fresh off their 83-39 takedown of Pulaski County HomeSchool last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Morrilton Devil Dogs took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clinton Yellowjackets.

Morrilton's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Clinton, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

The future could be bright for both Morrilton and Clinton: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Morrilton will try to hand Pulaski Academy their fifth-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Clinton will look to extend Heber Springs' three-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
