Baseball Recap: Normandy Comes Up Short

Normandy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-1 to the Berea-Midpark Titans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Normandy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Saban, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those three hits gave Saban a new career-high.

Normandy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Normandy will head out to square off against Dover at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Berea-Midpark, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Avon Lake at 4:45 p.m.
