Elberta's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against UMS-Wright Prep by a score of 3-0.

The home team had won the previous two meetings between LeFlore and Rain, and Rain kept the tradition alive. The Rattlers came up short against the Red Raiders on Friday, falling 13-3.

Elberta pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for LeFlore, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
