Basketball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

Everett lost against Waverly back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Everett Vikings had to suffer through a 77-13 loss at the hands of the Waverly Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 514th, while the Warriors are ranked 228th).

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Waverly, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Everett will venture away from home to face off against Okemos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waverly, they are taking a road trip to take on Holt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
