Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pelham Memorial). They managed a 72-68 victory over the Tappan Zee Dutchmen on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Pelicans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pelham Memorial to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Green, who posted 24 points. Another player making a difference was Colleen Sheehy, who had 19 points.

Pelham Memorial's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Tappan Zee, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Pelham Memorial has already played their next contest, a 48-46 victory against Mamaroneck on the 18th. As for Tappan Zee, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harrison at 1:30 p.m. on February 1st.
