Basketball Recap: Dodge Vocational Comes Up Short

Dodge Vocational was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Evander Childs Tigers, falling 101-36. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 794th, while the Tigers are ranked 246th).

Dodge Vocational's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Evander Childs, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Dodge Vocational will head out to square off against Tuitt at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dodge Vocational has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Evander Childs, they will host Roosevelt Educational at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Evander Childs knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Roosevelt Educational likes a good challenge.
