Basketball Recap: Huntington Beach Takes a Loss

Huntington Beach lost against Edison back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huntington Beach Oilers might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Edison Chargers an easy 64-38 victory. The contest marked the Oilers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Huntington Beach's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Edison, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-6.

Huntington Beach and Santiago will round out the year against one another at at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Santiago will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Huntington Beach surely won't give up without a fight. As for Edison, they will face off against Laguna Hills at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
