Basketball Recap: Benedictine Takes a Loss

Benedictine played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 68-36 loss at the hands of the McDowell Trojans. The defeat continues a trend for the Bengals in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Benedictine lost, don't look at Noah Whisler. Despite the final result, he posted seven points and six boards. Tyrell O'Neal was another key player, putting up five points.

Benedictine's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Benedictine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-51 victory against International Sports Academy on the 8th. As for McDowell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-49 defeat against Knoch on the 8th.
