Football Recap: St. Mark's Falls Short Against Ranked Delaware Military Academy + How To Watch

St. Mark faced Delaware Military Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Spartans fell 15-10 to the Seahawks. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seahawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Brett Greene threw for 82 yards on eight of 19 attempts. Grayson Smith was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards. On the ground, Elijah Burke rushed for 40 yards.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Mark's and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Delaware Military Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Coincidentally, St. Mark's and Delaware Military Academy will both be playing Polytech the next time they take the field. The Spartans will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Seahawks will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
