Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Rainier vs. Stadium

The Mt. Rainier Rams will challenge the Stadium Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Stadium is facing Mt. Rainier at the wrong time: Mt. Rainier suffered their first home loss of the season on Monday and they're likely out for redemption. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Mt. Rainier couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Stadium kept a clean sheet against Kennedy Catholic on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 5-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Stadium needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Stadium's victory bumped their record up to 8-4-4. As for Mt. Rainier, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-3.

Mt. Rainier skirted past Stadium 2-1 in their previous matchup on April 7th. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
