Volleyball Recap: Portola Comes Up Short

Portola lost against Dayton back in August of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Dust Devils by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Portola sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-20, 24-26, 15-10.

Portola's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Dayton, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Portola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Tournament Opponent on the 22nd. As for Dayton, they will host Debbie Smith CTE Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
