 Central Cabarrus put the finishing touches on their 12th blowout victory of the season  on Friday. Everything went their way against the Concord Spiders as the Central Cabarrus Vikings made off with  a  20-1 win. Central Cabarrus' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Peyton Smith was a standout: she got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Chloe Phillips, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 On Concord's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Anamaria Shuman, who  went 1-for-2 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Central Cabarrus and  bumps their season record up to 16-6. As for Concord, they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-18.
 Central Cabarrus will be playing in front of their home fans against Robinson at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. Central Cabarrus' pitching crew has only allowed four  runs per game  this season, so Robinson's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Concord does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
