Soccer Game Preview: Menchville vs. Denbigh

Menchville is a perfect 8-0 against Denbigh since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Monarchs will host the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Menchville's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Denbigh has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Monday, Menchville was able to grind out a solid win over Smithfield, taking the game 4-2.

The Monarchs hit the Packers with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maddie Leach (2), Lala Granger, and Alyssa Ware.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Denbigh's offense. They fell just short of Bethel by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Menchville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 70 goals over those eight contests. As for Denbigh, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11-1.

Menchville took their win against Denbigh in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-0 score. Will the Monarchs repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
