Baseball Game Preview: Camden County Bruins vs. Holmes Aces

Camden County is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Holmes is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bruins will host the Aces at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Holmes took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Camden County, who comes in off a win.

Camden County's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Hertford County as they made off with an 8-0 victory. Considering the Bruins have won nine games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Holmes' good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 9-2 to First Flight.

Holmes saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Hare, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Camden County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Holmes, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.
