Basketball Recap: Cole Camp Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stover, Cole Camp was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lincoln Cardinals by a score of 35-27. This was a revenge game for the Blue Birds: when they faced off against the Cardinals two weeks ago, they had to take a 36-23 defeat.

Cole Camp's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-13. As for Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Cole Camp will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on La Monte at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th. Lincoln will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Smithton at 5:00 p.m. on February 11th.
