Volleyball Recap: Silver Stage Comes Up Short

Silver Stage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Yerington Lions, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-13, 25-8.

Joselyn Fayaud paced Silver Stage's offense, picking up three kills. Fayaud got some help from Robin Smith and her two assists.

Silver Stage's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Yerington, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Silver Stage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Pershing County on the 6th. As for Yerington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Oasis Academy on the 6th.
