Coral Springs is a perfect 5-0 against Monarch since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Colts will head out to square off against the Knights at 6:00 p.m.

Coral Springs managed to slip by West Broward the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Colts lost 3-0 to the Bobcats on Thursday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Colts haven't been shut out since back in March.

While Coral Springs ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.

Coral Springs' loss came about despite a quality game from Jayden Thomas, who had nine digs and two assists.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Monarch, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Stoneman Douglas with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-19, 27-25.

Monarch has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Coral Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Everything went Coral Springs' way against Monarch in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Coral Springs made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
