Recap: Sidney Red Raiders vs. Alliance Bulldogs

There's no place like home for The Sidney Red Raiders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took their match at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-20 win over Alliance. The result was nothing new for Sidney, who have now won three matches by 28 points or more so far this season.

Isak Doty went supernova for Sidney, rushing for 143 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 141 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Holly, who rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Defeat or not, Alliance got some senior leadership from Landen Crowe who threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns and Tristen Timbers who picked up 167 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Sidney's victory was their sixth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.0 points per game. As for Alliance, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Sidney will be playing at home against Gothenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gothenburg will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Alliance does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
