Volleyball Recap: Kimberly's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Kimberly was the 3-1 winner over Fond du Lac when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Papermakers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Papermakers' undefeated start to the season.

Kimberly actually scored more points across those three sets (58-55), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 15-25, 15-13.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kimberly fell to 2-1. As for Fond du Lac, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Kimberly and Fond du Lac will both be playing Oshkosh West the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will head out to face the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Papermakers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
