Basketball Recap: Arab Knights vs. Albertville Aggies
If Arab was feeling good fresh off their 54-28 takedown of Asbury on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights took a blow against the Albertville Aggies on Friday, falling 74-35. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Aggies are ranked sixth).
Leading Albertville to victory were Lani Smallwood and Mylie Butler. Smallwood went 11-for-18 to rack up 27 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals, while Butler shot 50% from the field en route to 18 points along with eight assists and three steals.
