Basketball Recap: Clallam Bay Bruins vs. Neah Bay Red Devils
After flying high against Chief Kitsap Academy last Wednesday, Clallam Bay came back down to earth. The Clallam Bay Bruins were dealt a 78-47 loss at the hands of the Neah Bay Red Devils on Friday. The Bruins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-19.
Makyah Chambers was his usual excellent self, going 7 for 16 en route to 18 points and six rebounds for Neah Bay. Chambers has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyler Swan, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points and five boards.
Clallam Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Neah Bay, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.
