             Crean Lutheran got themselves on the board against La Serna on Friday, but La Serna never followed suit. They put the hurt on the La Serna Lancers with a sharp  20-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won four games by 20  points or more  so far this season.
  Taurian Nash went supernova for Crean Lutheran, rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. The dominant performance gave  Nash a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 Crean Lutheran was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 214  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as La Serna only rushed for 115.
 Crean Lutheran pushed their record up to 4-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for La Serna,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 3-2 record.
 Crean Lutheran will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Foothill at 7:00  p.m.  on October 4th. Crean Lutheran's defense has only allowed 9.8  points per game  this season, so Foothill's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for La Serna, they will head out to  square off against Edison  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Edison will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something La Serna surely won't give up without a fight.
