Basketball Recap: Berkeley Springs Skates Past Union with Ease

Berkeley Springs posted their biggest win since January 12, 2024 on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Union Tigers 48-18. The Indians didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Chanda Gaither and Chanelle Sutton certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Gaither posted four points and six boards, while Sutton put up four points and nine rebounds. Sutton is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-15. As for Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

Berkeley Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-42 defeat against Southern Fulton on the 15th. As for Union, they will take on Moorefield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
