Baseball Recap: Simsboro Comes Up Short

Simsboro's last matchup with Zwolle could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Saturday. Simsboro came up short against Zwolle, falling 11-1. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Simsboro saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maximus Lee, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Simsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10-1. As for Zwolle, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11.

Coming up, Simsboro will take on Choudrant at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Zwolle, they will face off against Many at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
