Soccer Game Preview: Cosby vs. Atlee

The Cosby Titans will face off against the Atlee Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Cosby is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: Midlothian, who was ranked third at the time (Cosby was ranked 11th). The Titans came up short against the Trojans on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss was Cosby's first of the season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Atlee's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Hanover by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Atlee haven't been shut out since back in March.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cosby fell to 8-1-2. As for Atlee, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 8-2-1.
