Foothill has gone 8-2 against Dublin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the Gaels at 4:15 p.m. Foothill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Monte Vista hit Foothill with a four-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Foothill saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was George Schmitt, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Dublin had taken Monte Vista down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Gaels fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 6-4. The Gaels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dublin also got a good showing from Ethan Hallett, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hallett has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Wyatt Metz made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Dallas Voyce also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Dublin, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.

Dublin's pitching crew better be locked in on Wednesday. Foothill hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. It's a different story for Dublin, though, as they've been averaging only 0 home runs. Will they be able to keep Foothill in the park?

Foothill skirted past Dublin 8-7 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
