Soccer Recap: Kent-Meridian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jefferson last Friday, Kent-Meridian came back down to earth. The Royals fell just short of the Enumclaw Hornets by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Kent-Meridian couldn't quite close it out.

Kent-Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-6. As for Enumclaw, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6-3 record this season.

Kent-Meridian will square off against Federal Way at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Enumclaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
