Volleyball Recap: Trego Comes Up Short

Trego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Medicine Lodge Indians.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19.

Tegan Lang paced Trego's offense, picking up four kills. Lang were helped by Cambrey Klitzke and Maura Albers, who contributed four assists each. Lang also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Leah Day, each putting up two.

Medicine Lodge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Player #3, who had ten digs and two aces.

Trego's loss dropped their record down to 11-22. As for Medicine Lodge, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 32-4.

Trego wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Rawlins County on the 20th. As for Medicine Lodge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sterling on the 20th.
