While Rocky Bayou Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They snuck past the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders with a 50-46 win on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won five games in a row.

Rocky Bayou Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Calix McCune out in front who posted 14 points and seven rebounds. McCune is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Harrison Sanders, who went 8-for-18 en route to 17 points and eight boards.

Rocky Bayou Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Pensacola Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Rocky Bayou Christian will face off against L.E.A.D. Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pensacola Catholic, they and Pace will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played.
