Basketball Recap: Anthony Bailey's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Sumner over Norwayne

Sumner suffered their biggest loss since February 15, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Norwayne Bobcats, falling 70-46. The match marked the Stingrays' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sumner lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Anthony Bailey, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Baker, who had 11 points.

Tyson Hess was his usual excellent self, going 10 of 14 on his way to 22 points along with five rebounds and five steals for Norwayne. Those five steals gave Hess a new career-high. Braden West was another key player, putting up 16 points.
