Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Rosemead

Arroyo came into Wednesday's game looking for another win against Rosemead, but Rhys Anderson wouldn't allow it. The Rosemead Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 victory over the Arroyo Knights on Wednesday thanks in part to Anderson, who posted 21 points. The contest was his 19th in a row with at least ten points.

The win was the third in a row for Rosemead, bringing their record for this year to 11-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Arroyo, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

The future could be bright for both Rosemead and Arroyo: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Rosemead will try to hand El Monte their 19th-straight loss when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Arroyo will look to extend Marshall's six-game losing streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
