Baseball Recap: Tranquillity Comes Up Short

Tranquillity lost against Coalinga back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 18-1 to the Horned Toads. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tranquillity saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Torres, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Tranquillity's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Coalinga, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Tranquillity has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 defeat against Liberty on the 23rd. As for Coalinga, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dos Palos at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Horned Toads' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
