Volleyball Recap: Uintah Takes a Loss

Uintah came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Provo Bulldogs. The defeat continues a trend for the Utes in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

While Uintah was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-18.

Provo found their leader in freshman Lexi Carter, who had ten digs. Carter is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Uintah's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Provo, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Uintah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Mountain View on the 25th. As for Provo, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Summit Academy on the 25th.
