Baseball Recap: Chamberlain Comes Up Short

Zephyrhills hit Chamberlain with a four-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Storm fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 7-6.

Chamberlain got a good showing from Aidan Felix, who pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Michael Medina was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Sharpe, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Chamberlain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Chamberlain will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge King at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Storm their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Zephyrhills, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Hudson at 7:00 p.m.
