Hoover won the last time they faced Monrovia and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hoover Tornados secured a 66-61 W over the Monrovia Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tornados.

Hoover's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Monrovia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoover will welcome Azusa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monrovia, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kaiser at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
