Basketball Recap: Brookfield's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

Brookfield came into Saturday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past the Valley Christian Eagles with a 42-36 victory on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brookfield's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Valley Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Brookfield will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Liberty at 5:30 p.m. Brookfield is facing Liberty at the right time seeing as Liberty is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Valley Christian, they will face off against East Palestine at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Christian will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: East Palestine will have lost five straight heading into Thursday's matchup.
