Holcomb's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Gideon Bulldogs a 15-0 shutout. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
