            Softball Recap: Baker Gators vs. Northview Chiefs        
        
		
        
        
            Thursday just wasn't the day for Baker's offense. They came up short against  the Northview Chiefs on Thursday, falling  12-0. Having soared to a lofty ten  runs in the game before, the Gators' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Baker has also traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record  this season. As for Northview, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home.
 Looking ahead, Baker is taking a road trip to  face off against Booker T. Washington  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.76  runs per game on average), something the Gators will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Northview, they will host Tate  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
