They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Van Nuys Wolves. Matthew Jimenez was excellent, scoring a run while going 4-for-6. Those hits marked the first that he got this season. Another player making a difference was Levi Shickle, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.
