Columbian barely beat Bellevue the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tornadoes put the hurt on the Redmen with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Redmen recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

While Columbian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-17.

Kaela Jenkins paced Columbian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Jenkins got some help from Avary Brown and her 32 assists.

Columbian's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Bellevue, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine matches and leaves them with a 15-4 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Columbian is set to face off against their familiar foe Norwalk at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bellevue will take on rival Perkins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
