Volleyball Recap: Westminster Victorious

Westminster picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against the Chattanooga Christian Chargers by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Their offense was headlined by Sophia Alston and Ashley Adams, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Munday Tyrone and her 13 assists. Finally, Faith Ahyi-Sena kept Westminster's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Westminster's win bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Chattanooga Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Westminster and Centennial will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chattanooga Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Webb at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
