Monterey waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Tascosa Rebels by a score of 3-1.

Mariah Dayton-Quinlan and Kylei Jordan scored all three of Monterey's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Monterey pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Tascosa, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Coincidentally, Monterey and Tascosa will both be playing Amarillo the next time they take the pitch. Tascosa will host Amarillo at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Monterey will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on March 4th.
