Soccer Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity and St. Thomas Aquinas squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Trinity had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Saints by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Trinity couldn't push the score so high this time.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 12-3-4. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-1-1.

Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they will take on Kearsarge on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average (St. Thomas Aquinas 0.5, Kearsarge 0.4) so any goals scored will be well earned.
