Basketball Recap: Coweta Comes Up Short

Coweta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bixby Spartans.

Coweta's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Bixby, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-16 record.

Coweta has already played their next matchup (against Edison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bixby won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Stillwater at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bixby is facing Stillwater at the right time seeing as Stillwater is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
