Basketball Recap: Hortonville Comes Up Short

Hortonville was the 65-59 winner over Kimberly when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Hortonville Polar Bears took a 62-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kimberly Papermakers on Friday. The Polar Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hortonville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kimberly, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hortonville will take on Kaukauna in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. Kimberly and Appleton West will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Kimberly's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
