The Rains Wildcats are on the road again on Tuesday to play the Prairiland Patriots at 6:30 p.m. Prairiland took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Rains, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, Rains finally turned things around against Chisum on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1.
The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 16-25, 25-21.
Meanwhile, Prairiland unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lone Oak.
Prairiland was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Lone Oak work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 15-25, 25-13, 26-24.
Rains' win bumped their record up to 7-22. As for Prairiland, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-12.
