Mt. Hermon has gone a perfect 10-0 against Varnado recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Yellowjackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mt. Hermon will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Phoenix on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets blew past the Spartans 21-3.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Varnado challenged Independence on Wednesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 23-12 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Mt. Hermon's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Varnado, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Everything went Mt. Hermon's way against Varnado in their previous meeting on Friday, as Mt. Hermon made off with a 21-4 win. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
